Frequently asked questions

Clear answers about privacy, process and resolution.

These are the core rules UGBS Resolve applies across guest, account and staff workflows.

Can I report without creating an account?+

Yes. Guest reporting supports Anonymous, Confidential and Identified submissions. After submission you receive a case reference and one-time access code for limited tracking.

What is the difference between Anonymous and Confidential?+

Anonymous reporting does not store your identity in the case system. Confidential reporting can store contact details separately from the main case record and restrict them to authorised roles.

What if I choose the wrong category?+

Choose the closest category you can. Central review may correct it with a recorded reason while preserving your original selection in audit history.

Who can formally close a case?+

Operational staff can work and submit resolutions. Independent verification and closure remain restricted to authorised senior review roles.

Are evidence files public?+

No. Evidence uses private object storage and remains quarantined until it passes the configured security checks.
