Information we process
Depending on how you use the service, information may include report content, your chosen privacy mode, account and profile details, case messages, submitted evidence, workflow history, security events, and technical records needed to keep the service safe.
Anonymous reporting is designed not to collect a reporter identity. Do not place identifying information in the report narrative or evidence if you intend to remain anonymous.
Why we use it
Information is used to receive and assess concerns, communicate securely, assign authorised case teams, investigate and resolve cases, meet institutional accountability duties, prevent misuse, and maintain an auditable record of decisions.
Who can access it
Access is limited by role, department, case assignment, and privacy level. Confidential identity information is separated from ordinary case handling and is available only to specifically authorised personnel. Public dashboards use aggregate figures rather than case narratives or reporter identities.
Service providers and transfers
Approved infrastructure and delivery providers may process limited information to host the application, store protected data, authenticate users, or deliver security and invitation emails. They receive only the access needed for their function and remain subject to their service safeguards.
Your choices and requests
You can choose anonymous, confidential, or identified reporting where the reporting flow offers those modes. Subject to applicable institutional and legal requirements, you may ask about access, correction, restriction, or deletion of personal information through the Resolve contact channel.
Questions or requests
Use the UGBS Resolve contact channel for privacy, access, correction, retention, or accessibility questions. Do not include sensitive case details in a general enquiry.
